WHAT IS THCA FLOWER?
THCa flower is cannabis that contains less than 0.3% ∆9-THC. Truth be told most dispensary weed is also below 0.3% D9THC. That's because cannabis is rich in THCa and does not produce THC that is ingestible and active to humans. When you smoke weed, the process of heating THCa simultaneously turns it into Delta-9-THC, the active form of THC. This process is also known as decarboxylation, but this can also happen over time as THCa degrades into THC.
 
THCa is currently at the federal level treated the same as other cannabinoids that are not Delta 9 THC. The underlying controlling law (the 2018 Farm Bill) is still applicable and includes any and all byproducts of industrial hemp, like THCa, in the definition of industrial hemp. This means it takes THCA as a cannabinoid out of Schedule I. To comply with federal law, this product contains less than the 0.3% Delta 9 THC on a per weight bass.
